Many may like it and many definitely hate it.

I will be honest and up front and say that I know the bare minimum about Green Lantern and his story, but I do know that the ring can create anything Hal Jordan wants it to create and why can't this film version of Green Lantern's suit be whatever Ryan Reynolds' character wants it to look like?

Perhaps this is only one of the suits that Hal Jordan will wear since he could create a suit that looks different for different situations.

I know that the suit is an iconic image for the character, but at the same time this is a production shot and since the suit is CG, then it can be changed by easily making modifications on one of those super-computers that CG effects studios use.

Anyway, my take is that there is nothing to really worry about because I'm sure the suit appearance is being modified as I type this right now.

I personally think the suit looks cool as is and they should just run with it because in the end, the fans will get used to looking at it once it is in motion on the big screen.

I think it's an early alien manifestation of the ring. Maybe it changes. It was an unfinished rendering as well.

For all we know that could be a shot of the suit in mid generation. as he is changing from street cloths to GL suit.

because a month and a half later is a good time to post your opinion that has less passion behind it than any single comment in the actuall article that unveiled the suit.

This is weird and pointless.

I should just cut and paste this comment and call it an article.

I totally agree with you on this. The suit will probably be slightly changed or whatever but the whole basis is just genius. I can imagine they change it more and more throughout the different films, just like Nolans Bats. The suit in its current edition is just awesome. It looks just like I wanted it to. It needs to be different from the comics. I think the white gloves could go but its too strange, too comical. This suit is a testimony to WB/DC going to bring GL to the 21 century, the modern age of our imagining superheroes. The suit needs to look "real". GL, Supes, Bats, Flash all have iconic suits but truly Supes is the most iconic and needs to be preserved and modifyed. Bats need the insignia, so do GL, but GL creates whatever he wants. I however wonder how they would do the Flash suit(A FLASH MOVIE NEEDS TO BE MADE NOOOOW!!)

Anyways, the GL suit is perfect! PERFECT! Cant wait to see it in action next summer!!!

I'd have to agree with Leee777 on this one. You're not a big GL fan (obviously) and you're writing a critique on an unfinished suit, the image of which has been out for quite a while now? Why would you bother?
