Handsome fella huh? Despite some negative reaction to certain parts of the trailer(ie any bits with Ryan Reynolds behaving like something from National Lampoon's Super Hero House) I think the movie will deliver. Thanks in no small part to this chap and his pals from the Green Lantern Corps.

Actually, I think it is a fairly accurate likeness to Tomar-Re from the comics. Whith that stated, it makes me hopeful that the Movie might actually stand a chance at being a prelude to JLA. Till next time comfans.

Great! This film will be marvelous! And its Polly want a cracker Nucky you big hoot!
I would not hug that bird if I had to. Creepy eyes. Smiling murderer like.

Now from what I can gather, set aside my bias'ness'es(?) I have extremely high hopes for this film. I have been convinced about everything whilst there are some who are more meeeh and other absolutetly thinks its gonna crash, like Grif points out time and time again.
I become more and more convinced each time I get to see some picture. I love how the beings look familiar-like, kinda human-esque as in the comics but still they look alien and strange.

I honestly believe this film will do good and Reynolds will impress everyone!

To all those whining about The Sexiest Man Alive's injection of humor into Hal Jordan, remember Tony Stark is in no way as funny as Robert Downey Jr. plays him, which incidentally makes him about 10 times more interesting.

I think it looks good but I wish his beak was the same color as his head I hope he has a silver surfer voice lol. But he does look alien and thin and that's great

The extensions of the head couldve been a little bigger but I think the movie will be succesfull....It must be really difficult to bring a story like this one to life

Fans...you think you hold the keys to the fraking universe and that you can tell movie makers what to do and what looks right and what doesn't.

Well then why aren't YOU working in the industry? Hmm?

Oh yes that's right because YOU have no clue what working in this type of industry is like. You didn't spend hours designing, coloring, sculpting, researching and learning.

You just picked up a comic book, an amazing one at that, and decided that just because you're a fan means you're entitled to being the big boss of everything.

And You think Tomar looks cute? No sorry don't think so, if anything he looks cute in the comics.

@OXtheII: True, Reis had to do a partial redesign for Secret Origins to make him look less cartoony, in the movie they even modified his body to make him look less human.
