WB President Alan Horn Comments on the Green Lantern Film

Coming from MTV’s Splash Page, Alan Horn’s words on the upcoming Green Lantern movie. Whether this comes as good or bad news, is up to you I guess. But according to Horn Green Lantern is “On the board” and “On the runway, but hasn’t taken off yet.”

So what’s new at WB/DC? Something is coming out, something isn’t coming out. It’s as if they don’t know whether to make a film, or to just “Green”light it and keep it in production limbo. I say it’s about time for them to you-know-what, or get off the pot. Take some cues from Marvel Studio’s and MAKE A DECISION PEOPLE!

It’s as if they want us all to be hopeful that they’re making movies containing characters we all want to see, but don’t know how to get it off the ground without completely wrecking what every comic book enthusiast is used to. So many travesties or fatalities in DC’s movie line-up, and still, so much hope left for the masses. I wish they’d just make up their collective minds and get the show on the road.
