Former WWE wrestler, Dave Bautista, recently spoke with lehighvalleylive.com about Guardians of the Galaxy. Dave Bautista says he is beyond excited for Guardians of the Galaxy and praised the film's director, James Gunn by saying "James made it so easy." Bautista also spoke about the film's expectations "Now the pressure's on. Now it has to live up the hype... It's a scary thing when peoples expectations are so high." Bautista also spoke about his character in the film, Drax The Destroyer. Dave Bautista said that portraying Drax The Destroyer was an "emotional roller-coaster." Dave Bautista added "That's the thing I love about Drax. I don't think people were really expecting him to have such an emotional range. Most people were thinking he's a one-note guy. But he's more heartbroken than anything. That's what I love about the character. He goes from rage to heartbroken over his family."

Drax is an awesome character in the Abnett / Lanning GOTG comic series, on which this film is said to be largely based. His is an interesting back-story, so I am glad that is going to be included in the movie. Dave certainly looks the part.
