After a hit and miss comicbook season in 2013, 2014 granted us with 3 winners: Captain America The Winter Soldier, X-men Days of Future Past, and Guardians of The Galaxy. If you're like me, Guardians was the best comic book movie of that year for you. I just felt since it was so different and so far apart from the rest of the MCU, that it gave James Gunn free reign to do whatever he wanted. And thus he gave us an excellent space adventure. Sure, the villain was underdeveloped, but the rest of the movie worked so well that it became of the best comicbook adaptations in recent years.
Now here we are with it's sequel, Vol. 2. And how does it fair this time around? Its absolutely fantastic. Though not as good as the first film, this sequel is colorful, funny, dramatically competent, and full of characters we actually care about (which something that can't be said for most MCU movies). Full review blow:
What did ou think of Guardians Vol.2 ?
Was it better this time around or do you prefer the first?
