These days we are spoiled for choice when it comes to Comic Book Movie adaptations. Whether your a Marvel or DC fan, or anything in between, odds are there's a movie for you somewhere in the bunch. 

We decided to take a look at what some of our favourite movies would look like if they were made in a different era. This week Guardians of the Galaxy is up with a fresh 1988 Rewind Recast. 

Who would play our titular heroes? Who would they go up against? How would the story take shape in 1988? All of these questions you didn't know you had will be answered. We hope you enjoy!

Suggesting Rutger Hauer was some kind of 80s go to guy for your on screen villain, does suggest that these gentleman didn't grow up in the 80s.
