GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY's Baby Groot Might Be The Greatest Spokesman Of All-Time

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY's Baby Groot Might Be The Greatest Spokesman Of All-Time

Cuteness overload alert! The newest addition to James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the Geico Gecko, who joins forces with Baby Groot to save money AND the Galaxy at the same time.

The Geico Gecko is a little confused by Baby Groot's signature "I Am Groot" reply. Without Rocket on-hand to translate we have absolutely no idea what BG is actually saying. To that end, I invite everyone to offer up their own Baby Groot translation in the comment section below.  Also feel free to suggest what other cross-promotion pairings you'd like to see the other Guardians teamed up with.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 hits theaters on May 05, 2017.  James Gunn returns to direct and write the sequel, which stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

@BillCipher999 - You "Ship" them?

@ThatAlexDude - Shipping, initially derived from the word relationship, is the desire by fans for two or more people, either real-life people or fictional characters (in film or literature) to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise. It is considered a general term for fans' emotional involvement with the ongoing development of a relationship in a work of fiction. Shipping often takes the form of creative works, including fanfiction and fan art, most often published on the internet.

Groot's tiny voice has grown on me.

I'm starting to think he either stays that way in Infinity War or by then he'll be going through a teenage growth kind of thing. We'll see.

@NinnesMBC - I personally prefer the adult groot (a giant that is kind).

Slowly "aging" him doesnt make sense when in the first film he could alter his size at will.
