The latest interview from Empire's traditional spoiler podcast is with none other than James Gunn, co-writer and director of Marvel Studios' latest smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy. From the Collector's collection to baby Groot dancing to Jackson 5, Gunn offers some interesting behind-the-scenes info. "There is the Slither creatures from my movie Slither behind the Collector; those guys are pretty obvious," said Gunn when asked to give a guide to The Collector's museum. "You have Adam Warlock's cocoon. You have all sorts of characters from other Marvel movies; a Dark Elf back there, who's played by Doug Jones, one of our stunt guys." While the Collector's Museum is left in ruins in Guardians thanks to the Orb, Gunn hints how the character may have more items in the 2017 sequel. "I will say that is probably not the Collector's only museum," he said. "I think he probably has other spaces in which he keeps his incredibly vast selection. That's just his Knowhere wing [in
the movie]."

About baby Groot dancing right before the credits roll, James Gunn says that was his idea and that it was also in the script. "Litte spoiler for the audience, that tree dancing is me," the director revealed. "I'm not motion-captured, but I'm motion-referenced and that is 100% me dancing... Honestly, that [scene] was supposed to be either mid-credits or end-credits, but when we showed it to the test audience, they loved it so much! We were like 'We don't want people walking out and missing this this,' so we put it right there after the 'Guardians of the Galaxy Will Return' thing." About that title card, which Marvel Studios usually puts after the credits, Gunn says that is pure Kevin Feige. "He has balls of steel. Honestly, the way that came about is we had the spaceship fly off [at the end of the movie], 'I Want You Back' the Jackson 5 song starts at a certain time, and the Groot dance started at a specific time of the 'I Want You Back' song. And if we put Groot dancing at the very end in the place we wanted to put it, there was a space there before the song went to the right place [for Groot]." That's where Feige reminded audiences the Guardians will return. Be sure to listen to the full interview where Gunn reveals things that didn't make the cut and more.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe.
