DEBUNKED: Is James Gunn Teasing An Appearance From THOR In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2?
You never know who the Guardians of the Galaxy might run into out there on the edge of space, and looking at director James Gunn's Facebook page, a certain God of Thunder could be crossing their path...
The mid-credits scene of Thor: The Dark World showed that the Asgardians aren't oblivious to the other alien species and worlds in the galaxy when Volstagg and Sif met up with the Collector (Benicio del Toro), who would go on to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy. We know that Chris Pratt will reprise his role as Star-Lord in Avengers: Infinity War, so how exactly does Star-Lord know to make his way back to Earth to fight alongside the Avengers? It looks like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn might be teasing the answer.
Gunn recently took to his Facebook page and posted an image of himself on the set of the Marvel sequel while holding Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) hammer, Mjolnir. This could easily be Gunn having fun on set, but he could just as easily be teasing a cameo from the God of Thunder.
DEBUNKED: Gunn has reiterated his previous statements, which stated that there would be no Avengers cameos.
