Ever since Disney announced the firing of Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn over controversial old tweets of his, Dave Bautista has been one of the most vocal celebrities to express his discontent with the decision. Bautista, along with the rest of the main Guardians cast released a joint statement the other week in support of Gunn in which they do not defend his tweets but stand up for the man they got to know while working on his films.

The rest of the Guardians cast have let the joint letter speak for them but Bautista has continued to express his frustration and disappointment. Bautista was asked on Twitter about his potential response should Disney not rehire Gunn, and he responded that he would only do the third Guardians film out of contractual obligation. Check out Bautista's response below:

That surely does sound quite a bit more confrontational than one would expect his employer Disney to wish for, and probably doesn't exactly encourage the directors who might be in the running to replace James Gunn on Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.

What do you guys think about Bautista's strong words?
