This Character Will Have A Key Role In GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
James Gunn has confirmed that he's already working on the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 screenplay and we have the first details on which member of the team is going to be taking centre stage here.
It was confirmed long before the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that a third instalment is on the way and that James Gunn will be writing and directing the movie. However, in a recent interview with USA Today, the site confirmed that the filmmaker has already started penning the screenplay to "complete his trilogy" and that he's been discussing the direction of the movie with star Chris Pratt.
However, it looks like we can expect the spotlight to be shifted in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as it's also mentioned that Gunn has been having "some pretty intense conversations" with Zoe Saldana about Gamora having a far more significant role in the threequel. What that will entail remains to be seen, but it would make sense for Thanos to be involved somehow following Avengers: Infinity War.
What direction would you like to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 head in? Gunn has made it clear that a possible fourth instalment could turn the spotlight on a new group of characters, but if you've seen the sequel, you'll know that he may already have a villain in mind for this planned third instalment. For now, be sure to let us know your thoughts on these comments in the usual place.
