HELLBOY Actor Daniel Dae Kim Reveals That He's Beaten Coronavirus; Shares Positive Message With Fans

We recently reported that Daniel Dae Kim (Hellboy Lost) was among the many celebrities to test positive for COVID-19, but the actor has now shared a positive update revealing that he's beaten coronavirus.

We haven't had much in the way of good news to share lately, so we thought we'd bring you this positive update from Hellboy actor Daniel Dae Kim, who revealed that he'd been diagnosed with coronavirus a couple of weeks back.

The former Lost alum has now returned to Instagram to announce that he has been given the all-clear by doctors, and is free to be "released into the wilds of my very own home." "

The good news is, that I'm now considered virus free," Dae Kim said in his post. "My required period of self-isolation has ended, and I've been released into the wilds of my very own home. Now I'm free to explore exotic places like my living room and do daring things like take out the garbage and walk my dog."

"But, now that I'm considered recovered," he added, "I also wanted to let you know that this will be my last post about this experience...There are many more voices, much more important than mine, such as doctors and scientists we should all be listening to and learning from. I've always considered my journey just a small part of how this disease has impacted our collective lives, and now that I'm better, it seems like the natural time to bring it to a close."

This is obviously great news for Dae Kim and his family (who thankfully never fell ill), bit not everyone has been so lucky, and the death rate continues to rise in many parts of the world.

We hope you guys are holding up okay and staying the f*ck home! Be sure to let us know how you're handling quarantine in the comments.

Hated the way they killed him and Sun off on Lost, but I'm glad he's still alive in real life!

@789 - it will be. Just take it one day at a time, grab your favorite drink, and wait for all this to blow over.

@789 - I haven't been out of the house in three weeks and I think normality is far away. Almost every day there is bad news

@LongMayHeReign - you know, one good thing about this whole craziness is that, even when 2 people have had friction in the past, they can bond over the mutual goal of helping people get through this.

Change the headline from "Hellboy" actor to "Lost" actor. He doesn't deserve to be discredited.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - Mainly know him from Hawaii Five-O, something which also would've been a far better credit (although I don't know how much I still like HFO today, since I haven't watched it since 2015 or so)

Yay I'm so happy a celebrity that had a mild case of this has beaten it - phew that was a close one. I mean it must have been really bad considering I think he released at least three videos while he was infected. Gosh he definitely needed that test over other people, thank goodness. Meanwhile, several kids with no underlying health conditions have died including a 12 year old kid.

Tom Hanks was able to fly back into a country that was on lockdown after he recovered probably passing it on. Prince Charles was able to flee from England to Scotland to isolate when cars are being pulled over if they leave a major city. Vanessa Hudgens basically told the poor and old they should just die and get it over with. And the Disney writer told us we can just forget it. Oh and Kylie Jenner donated one million to the cause which is cool, but she's a billionaire so that's the equivalent of like ten dollars for the rest of us.

It must be really, super, incredibly hard to self isolate too when you live in a frickin' mansion. Gosh, how they are coping?

One of the clearest outcomes of this thing is it's showing celebrities don't even live in the same world as us. To quote: "All the money in the world": " it may look like your world, but it's not."

Very glad to hear he recovered, proof that quarantine and self-isolation does pay off.

I hope Idris Elba and anyone else that has been diagnosed but hasn't shown much of the symptoms yet recovers. Same goes to everyone else here.
