Excitement is definitely building for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and the movie/franchise will be the focus of the next issue of Empire Magazine. As you can see, this iconic series is celebrated on the one cover, but the second turns the spotlight specifically to those adorable Mini-Pufts.

They appear to be a fun new take on the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man; while he towered over New York City, these cute little fellas look like they'll be causing a different sort of mayhem.

The early buzz surrounding Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been extremely positive. 2016's reboot came under fire for having an all female cast, but looking beyond that, it wasn't a particularly good movie. It certainly wasn't what longtime fans wanted from the franchise, anyway, and this apparent back to basics approach (which includes some original cast members) has a lot more support online.

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

The cast includes Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Paul Rudd, Logan Kim, and Celeste O'Connor. Original actors Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are all expected to appear in Ghostbusters: Afterlife as well.

The film was written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan and arrives in theaters on November 19.
