Straight out of Sanford, Florida, home to nothing but mainstream controversy these days, is a new log to be thrown on the blazing inferno of ambiguous terror or justice (based on your preconceived notions of reality)! "Spook" is a short film that seeks to reinvent both the Super Hero Action and Horror genres from the ground up. Warning, this film contains both violence and graphic language.

That was great for a B-movie. Lots of subtext and genuinely funny. Like to see what they could do with a budget over $20.

Let me serve up a hot cup of reality for this "film maker": it's 2012 and racist propoganda is no longer cool. I mean, really, a movie trying to get us to feel bad for the Klan? If you haven't seen it, here is the plot. Black people are evil monsters, white people are lovable victims. Sad. Just sad. Oh, and the Black villian is a modern version of black-face, with a painted white dude with a weak dredlock wig. I mean, really? In the 21st century???? Evolve, then do your best to make a movie that David Duke would be less proud of. I hope someone burns a cross in your trailer park.

Many, many lol's to the above comment by NakedBalzac; first off, the writer/ director is African American, as was a majority of the crew. The lead actor Charles Hogan, is African American and those were genuinely his dreadlocks. The Klan in this film openly admits to pig f#cking; also, that character "Spook," has visible rope burns on his neck, meaning he was a failed lynch job. By your logic, Blade is racist propaganda. I'm sure you were upset that Loki was adopted as well. Genuinely, thank you for being a hilarious idiot

Nakedbalzac, you understand that if you watched that and sympathized with the kkk you're racist, right? Scalding hot cup of acid truth.

@ Juwanan - Yes, the director is an African American... And I'm Cyndi Lauper. I assume your post is sarcastic. Either that or you just don't get it.

@ Bizo - I was mearly pointing out what the "film maker" (a term I use very loosely) clearly intended. The fact that you defend this garbage tells me you probably still fly a Confederate flag and sing songs about how great life would be if the South had won. Get informed, kid.

@balzac, I just think its funny that you watched a super hero movie and called the bad guys victims; they don't do anything to garner sympathy AT ALL. They're ignorant, racist rednecks. If you stay past the credits, its dedicated to, "the nameless and faceless victims of hooded hatred." You keep referencing everyone's secret intentions and claiming no one "got this" but you, when the truth is you're projecting your own racism onto other people. I don't know the director's intent, but I enjoy klan members getting horribly murdered (they deserve) You are a faux pseudo intellectual who has no idea he is a complete idiot and I love you for it. Please keep cracking me up.
