NYCC: Mondo Posters For HALLOWEEN; New EVIL DEAD Banner

We know Halloween will get a nationwide re-release on October 25th, but the beauties below by artist Ken Taylor are for a special 35MM in LA, with John Carpenter in attendance. The show takes place as part of the first ever Debra Hill Film Festival on Saturday, October 27 at 730PM at the New Beverly. You can order tickets to the event here.

And we also have this new Evil Dead banner. Nothing very revealing considering we have seen that logo before, but footage from the movie will screen at the Sony Pictures panel on Saturday the 13th of October, so I'm sure we'll see something soon after.

In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up long-dormant demons that possess each of those friends in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.” FilmDistrict will release in theaters April 12, 2013.
