The fifth installment in the Scream franchise (imaginatively titled, "Scream") is set to slice its way into theaters this Friday, and Paramount Pictures has now release a final trailer in an attempt to ensure high attendance from horror fans on opening night.
This teaser features quite a bit of new footage, as Woodsboro survivors Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), and Dewey Riley (David Arquette) return to face-off against the latest incarnation of Ghostface, who has lined up plenty of potential victims played by Dylan Minnette, Sonia Ben Ammar, Mikey Madison, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Jack Quaid, Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, and Marley Shelton.
Will one of them turn out to be the killer? It's possible, but as the tagline reminds us, "it's always someone you know."
The promo also spotlights the high praise that's been heaped on the movie by critics. Full reviews are still embargoed for now, but be sure to check back tomorrow afternoon for our reaction.
