@angelus- You sir, are a fool. Nah seriously though how cna you not like the original, it's amazing!

This looks shit, the original is so good I can almost guarentee this will fail. Why does there have to be an American version of EVERYTHING! We watch all your great TV programmes like True Blood, Sopranos etc without making an entirley new version.

WHY does Hollywood feel the need to 'Americanize' yet another very good British series? Are they afraid that Americans won't 'get it' if the actors/settings aren't AMERICAN?! Do they think we're THAT stupid?!! This is just ANOTHER recycled show that prooves that Hollywood has run out of its own ideas!

Plot sounds promising. Was the original more of a drama or more action packed? Sounds like it would make a great psychological drama if done well. I will go hunting for the british version

Loganoneil -- If you take a British TV series and put it on American TV . . . it will be viewed by a limited number of people, as we are used to seeing "Brit-coms" and Dr. Who on our public TV stations.

However, if an American production company takes the idea of the show, produces it with American writers, actors and production, then it puts a lot of people in Hollywood to work, the production company gets resisduals and it is more appealing for the Networks.

In other words, money.

The original British series will NEVER be beat! Sad that americans have lost all sense of originality and only live off milking successful series/movies from other countries. And they call themselves the Powers of the world.Pffft, whatever

I thought the trailer looked different. I saw the british series, but I find them kinda boring. A guy who turns into a werewolf only once a month is kinda lame. I think the chick in the british version is pretty cute. Don't know about this series though, but I'll take a look.

@Local Man- But isn't that just proof that Hollywood is totally [frick]ed? I'm sure American audiences aren't stupid, they can get past a different accent or different setting than they're used to. I mean what about all of the American TV series that make a big impact? Would you think it's smart to make British verisons of those? Of course not, they'd be horrible. And we don't NEED an American version of great Brtih TV, America needs to come up with it's own stuff.

I get the feeling the american version is going to take itself too seriously, which would suck. But I like Sam Witwer so I'll give it a go
