It Sounds Like We'll Be Seeing A LOT Of Monsters In The MCU After WEREWOLF BY NIGHT

Marvel Studios reportedly has big plans for its monsters after the upcoming Werewolf by Night Special Presentation, with that character and Man-Thing set to factor into the MCU in a big way moving forward.

Werewolf by Night arrives on Disney+ this Friday, and the Marvel Studios Special Presentation looks set to usher in a new era of storytelling in the MCU. As well as introducing the title character, we'll also meet Man-Thing and Elsa Bloodstone, and all three heroes have the potential to make a huge splash in this shared world.

According to The Cosmic Circus, both Jack Russell and Man-Thing are expected to appear in future Marvel Studios projects, but they won't be alone.

"Many" monsters and creatures are now set to emerge from the shadows, with the cabal of monster hunters we meet in Werewolf by Night supposedly having been around for centuries. Who knows, perhaps something will happen to them in this special that results in monsters feeling safe to make their presence felt in the world again.

The site adds, "We are being told that in Phases 5 and 6 of the MCU, monsters will start to pop up more frequently in a number of projects. So, not only will Jack Russell and Man-Thing make waves in Earth-616, but also many sorts of creatures will pop up in the upcoming phases."

They go on to claim that "you can expect monsters to be everywhere in the MCU...These creatures won’t just stay hidden in the shadows, but they will actually blend into our society, and we won’t be able to know who’s who." That lines up with a lot of what we've been hearing about the next couple of Phases, and makes sense with Blade on the way.

While we don't know how these monsters will factor into The Multiverse Saga, it definitely feels like Marvel Studios might have plans for Midnight Suns and/or Legion of Monsters projects.

Werewolf by Night premieres on Disney+ this Friday.
