Marvel Studios Rumored To Be Developing More Halloween Specials To Follow WEREWOLF BY NIGHT

It seems the success of Werewolf by Night has led to Marvel Studios putting at least two more Halloween Specials into development, though we have no idea which characters they'll focus on.

Marvel Studios' first project under the "Special Presentation" banner, Werewolf by Night, was very well received by fans and critics alike, and it sounds like more Halloween Specials are now being planned.

It's already been confirmed that more Special Presentations are on the way, but Daniel Richtman (via Patreon) is now reporting that at least two of those will release around the spooky season and focus on some of the MCU's many monstrous characters.

Kevin Feige has previously stated that magic and monsters will play an important role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going forward, so more Halloween Specials wouldn't exactly be a massive surprise. As for which characters they could focus on, there are numerous possibilities, but you have to believe that spin-offs for Man-Thing and/or Elsa Bloodborne - who both debuted in Werewolf by Night - are on the table.

With Blade on the way and Mephisto (reportedly) set to make his debut in Ironheart, it seems clear that the supernatural side of the MCU will soon get the spotlight, so these untitled Specials may even introduce the likes of Ghost Rider or Magik to lay the groundwork for that rumored Midnight Suns movie.

Pure speculation for now, of course, but be sure to let us know which heroes and villains you'd like to see these Halloween Specials focus on in the comments section.

"On a dark and sombre night, a secret cabal of monster hunters emerge from the shadows and gather at the Bloodstone Temple following the death of their leader; the attendees are thrust into a mysterious and deadly competition for a powerful relic."

Werewolf by Night is now streaming on Disney+.
