ALL HAIL THE KING The Real Mandarin Exists

The Marvel One shot solidifies the existence of the real Mandarin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Plus, Justin Hammer is enjoying Prison!

I just got Thor the Dark World On VUDU and went straight to "All Hail The King". The one shot Producers promised will rectify the entire Mandarin fiasco from Iron Man 3.

It appears the real Mandarin is quite upset about Mr. Slattery's performance of him and has sent in one of his operatives to extract Trevor to face punishment from him personally.

Trevor being high as a kite as always still didn't get where the conversation was going and asks if he knows who the operative is talking about to which the Ten Rings Operative posing as a journalist replies

"You took his name... And he wants it Back!"

Also in a surprise post credits scene it is revealed that Justin Hammer is alive and well And Funny as ever) and resents the attention Trevor is getting.

Since the real Mandarin was not in the short this gives Marvel free range to cast whoever they decide to go with when they do decide to use the Character down the line.

So what do you think? Does this change your feelings towards last year's "Ironman 3"? And who would you cast as "The Mandarin"? Leave your thoughts at the usual place!

It truly makes IRON MAN 3 a better film, and should be seen as an extra long after-credits scene.

It doesn't change my feelings. IM3 was fantastic as it was.
Awesome to see Trevor and Hammer, though.

Shit, they better cast an actual Asian actor this time, and actually have them loom like their comic book counterpart.

They handled it well, and now I would be very excited to see the real mandarin if we were to ever get an Iron Man 4.

So Marvel gave in. It's a good thing too, it makes Iron Man 3 just a tiny bit less of a pile of shit.

Trevor was ALWAYS impersonating the true Mandarin, it alluded to it in IM3. They just never showed the true Mandarin

This was shot during Iron Man 3 and before the fan reaction to The Mandarin. So, this was always the plan.

How can the mandarin be an AI if he had plastic surgery to look like him? AIs dont have facial features

On a side note, why hasn't anyone made an article on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's recent hashtag on Instagram?

IM3 will be a controversial movie till the end of time, it had sucha mixed/ divisive response that its insane how much people have talked about this thing

I still think Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin is a wasted opportunity and a shame is involvment was resorted to a ruse but I guess it'll do after seeing the one shot and what happened in it.

Now for who else might play The Mandarin? Ken Watanabe I suppose.

Avengers 2 opens with this prison break... Mandarin (AI) will seek to use Trevor as its actual host body.

Justin Hammer cameo, maybe he'll get out in the prison break...

Emil Blonsky reference in SHIELD tonight... Maybe they'll get him too, and the Clairvoyant (The Leader) will all be the masters of evil in the first half of the film while setting up Ultron

So glad us Mandarin fans got this! And to think people on this sit claimed "No one's even a Mandarin fan" It really pays to have an opinion of your own and anticipation of the real character or deity. Hopefully we'll see more of the Mandarin in AoU. But please no Iron Man 4. Phase 3 needs many more new guys to appear, time to let other heroes shine or reclaim their light (Hulk, Black Panther or possibly Inhumans)
