CBM scooper "Fastback67" sent us in some spy pics from the set of Iron Man 2 where it looks like they are settup up a very BIG green screen.

"I just got back from taking some pics of the Ironman 2 set. I managed to snap these off before I was chased off by security. The photo seems to be a huge miniature set of what looks to be a building of sorts. I took some behind the scene photos of the set so you can get a perspective of the size of this enormous set. check it out crop or do what you gotta do with them, but get this scoop out there! I'll take more photo's soon and send them to you."

NoobMike actually made an interesting comment about the green monster (can't stand boston, but that's irrelevant), doesn't that look like a set of bleacher type stands in front of the green screen? Maybe it's for a fight scene at the Monaco Grand Prix or something like that?

No way! I knew this was something. this is right where the 405 meets the 101 in the San Fernando Valley. I've been looking at this structure for weeks now. Its a bunch of cargo containers stacked up with rigging all over it. Very cool. I'll have to try to get up there.

Giant Green Screen? Only means a "GIANT" CGI... Meaning.. a GREAT FLYING SCENE... Possibly some HUGE CHARACTER.... Some huckleberry said before that the person who brought these pics here wasted his time and shouldn't have used the word, "Exclusive".. lol A guy brings something to us that (l can only speak for myself) can't be seen by everyone and you gripe about it? stfu..lol

mmmh... i agree with the anti-"exlusive" rants... not because we can´t see it in person, IT IS "exlusive". I mean, by definition exlusive is something NO ONE has seen..(outside the movie crew, of course)...

here, we are watching something ANYBODY AROUND those buildings can see, doyouknowwhatimean?.. oh ! and "I managed to snap these off before I was chased off by security" HAHAHA! chased from 1 or 2 miles away?? C´mon!!

Actually, that green screen is for nothing else than to add the spectators in the bleachers in a scene. You can see the small stands on the ground in front of the green screen. So the green screen is to flim a scene and then make it apear as if it was filmed in front of thousands of people sitting in the bleachers.

Thinking about it, this would be an epic scene if it featured Stark and Fury looking on at the helicarrier being built! Sorta like the enterprise scene in Star Trek! the green screen is big enough...

What the [FRICK] is this [EXCREMENT]?!! I don't want to see ANOTHER location shot (BORING!!!!!)! Here's a hint (it's about as subtle as clubbing a baby harp seal, so PAY ATTENTION) - don't show any more 'teaser' pictures unless they are a.) of the suit, b.) of a new suit, c.) of War Machine d.) of Whiplash (in costume), e.) of Iron Man kicking the [EXCREMENT] outta' something/someone, f.) of War Machine kicking the [EXCREMENT] outta' something/someone, g.) gratuitous pictures of Tony getting his freak on with hot naked babes in the film (or you can just 86 Tony and show the hot naked babes), or h.) any Scarlett pix in her Black Widow outfit. I think that should just about cover it - whaddya' guys think?
