There isn't even a contest.Sure, Holmes has a brilliant analytical mind, but Tony Stark is one of the smartest men on the planet.And he has a suit of armor!

It pretty much depends on the circumstances of the face-off.Is it a physical confrontation?Is it a battle of wits?Are weapons/gadgets involved?

I wish Deadliest Warrior would do one or two episodes a season where they would actually pit fictional characters against each other.They would compare their weapons and powers and then do the little scenario at the end.

I don't remember where(I think it waas in a magazine) but somebody(a reporter or something) asked Robert Downey Jr. this same Question, back when Sherlock Holmes just came out, and he said(not exact words) without the Ironman armor Sherlock would win.

i think most of the episodes have some things that are kind of unfair to compare.

like Ninja vs. Spartan. a ninja wouldn't fight a spartan head on, they'd kill the spartan in their sleep, or poison their food. it wouldn't go to a face to face fight.

or with Green Beret vs. Spetsnaz, when they tested each teams hand grenades, they put the Green Beret's grenade in an open environment and detonated it. then they took the Spetsnaz grenade and stuck it in a clothes dryer. of course the Green Beret explosion looked bigger, the Spetsnaz grenade was muffled.

every episode does SOMETHING unfair like that.

any halfwit scientist will tell you that when you're doing an experiment to compare two things, you need to test them in the same exact conditions. well this show doesn't do that, so i don't think ANY of the tests are fair, in my opinion. most of the outcomes aren't fair.

@ teabag..... Very good point and I agree if Bats is like Sherlock & in a way he is like an Old School Bats..... Then I go with Sherlock all the way...... But he don't own all the Kick A$$ stuff Bats owns soooooo I think It would be a okay match but at the REAL END Iron Man would Whoop on him.
