Iron Man 3 came out on May 3rd, 2013, and it currently sits at 78% on rotten tomatoes and also is a box office success with $1.2 billion worldwide which mean that pretty much everyone loved it and i very much agree. Iron man 3 is an amazing film, obviously it's not the best film of the year or the best comic book movie ever made, but it's still a great film. Now i have one con about the film, and that it was too funny (sounds weird right). To me, iron man 3 had a bit too much slapstick that it took a little away from the film. a little too much actually that it should have been classified as a comedy. now everyone knows tony stark/iron man is a wise ass funny guy but their were times where i felt scenes should have been taken seriously but then the scenes end with comedy that felt forced.

Now I'm not a fan of comedies and i feel that superhero movies should be dark and gritty but i know marvel owned by Disney isn't going to put out superhero films like "the departed", but i think they can do the dark knight type of violence where theres a balance of humor and darkness. this is my only complaint about the film which is rare. now pros of the film are the acting, once again robert Downey jr. knocks it out the park as tony stark and i was reminded why i love this character so much. Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, and Guy Pearce were all great at their respected parts. now people will say they hate this film because of the twist with the Mandarin and i personally had no trouble with it that I'm not going to even delve into it because i felt it was a great twist nobody was expecting. now overall iron man 3 was an amazing movie, with great visual effects, great acting, a clever twist, but a little bit of a slapstick feel to it, but still a great time at the movie theater. in conclusion i give iron man 3 an 8 out of 10.

It was a tough read. I agree with the sentiment, but I think a headache is coming from struggling through the structure, run-on, and homonym abuse.

The movie sucked. DC's Superman killed Iron Man 3 and it's gonna kill Thor 2. Marvel wants to make comedies instead of real superhero action movies.
