Deadline reveal that
Take Shelter star Jessica Chastain is the frontrunner for a role in the third instalment of Marvel Studios'
Iron Man franchise. While it initially appeared that scheduling conflicts would make her unavailable (hence why they have been meeting with the actresses listed above) it now appears that she may in fact be able to play a character who the site describes as, "a sexy scientist every bit as smart as Tony Stark." Fans of "Extremis" will know that this is more than likely Maya Hansen, an old flame of Tony's who plays a pivotal role in the storyline which Shane Black's movie so far appears to be based upon.
