UPDATE! IRON MAN 3: The Suit That Has No Name

I've been racking my brain since it was released in theaters and on DVD, I've looked at every single concept art that was released, even the Art of Iron Man 3 book, and this suit is no where to be found.

I honestly can't seem to figure out which suit this is, and it's the FIRST suit RDJ's Tony Stark put's on to combat Killian after Pepper falls to her death. Can anyone tell me what suit this is? I have NO IDEA.





If anyone can tell me exactly what suit this is, I'll love you forever. I'm so in love with this suit, I think it looks fantastic, and AWESOME!

UPDATE!

Thanks to the helpful searching of Bandit, I've found out that the suit is in fact the MK XVI, although the color scheme of the suit differs from the one that is presented in the art book/concept art, it appears that the suits are one in the same. Thanks for the research guys!

Things can change from concept to screen, Nightclub is the only with the combination of the shoulder fins, thined face plate, and the smaller arc reactor window...thing.
But yeah I agree with you guys, it might not be that one; just saying if it is one of them, it'd probably be that one.

I didn't say it wasn't. Just saying the visual isn't spot on, mostly in regards to the vibrancy of colors. Over all I'm just trying to offer my best answer given the information at hand.
From the start the only thing I've stated, is that if it is any of the recorded suits, the one closest in resemblance is NIGHTCLUB #16, that's all.
However, I can't say really anything with guarantee of being right.

I've some friends who worked on concept art in films, things always seem to change in the progress, concept to film. I'm sure somebody stated to the crew that they wanted to suit to pop a little more so they may have added a bit of red.
