Here's the deal: I was re-watching "Iron Man" because "Iron Man 2" is coming out on Friday (I'm gonna go see it at 7:00, got the advance tickets). While watching, I noticed that Tony spoke two lines to Rhodey, at almost an hour into the movie.

Tony: Just remember that, spring break, 1987. That lovely lady you met up with. What was his name?

Rhodey: Don't do that--

Tony: Was it Ivan?

Rhodey: They'll believe it, don't do that,

It's in Chapter 7 on the DVD of "Iron Man". For those of us who haven't seen "Iron Man 2", remember the name? Ivan Vanko. Was this coincidence, or a sneaky little hint? Go watch it, I tried to find the clip online, but no success.

That's Really not a big hint. I did notice something else while re-watching Iron Man though. If I remember right, the scene where the two jets were chasing Iron Man. One of them was named Whiplash.

I believe it, Favreau would totally do that. Think of all the Mandarin hints too.

And now a big fat sign of Fin Fang Foom is in Iron Man 2. Makes you think doesn't it?

The trouble with that theory *spoiler alert* is that Tony had no idea who Ivan was or who his father was in Ironman 2.

They were ghosts from his fathers past.

LOLS i totally didn't realize that till you brough it up and i just finished re-watching it(i'm also watching Iron MAn2 mdnight showing but i have the pleasure of watching it in super super high definition at Cinetopia the only one in the States with HD movie...i think)

If i'd notice it alot more earlier iw ouldn't of been wondering who the heck is gonna be int he second one the moment i fished watching the first one in theatres lols.

OH BTW the Cinetopia theatres i just realized are 2048P on the screen :P

The jets that were chasing Iron Man were code-named "Whiplash 1" and "Whiplash 2".
