Now that we're finally in the month of July, only two weeks remain before promotional efforts kick off for Marvel's “technological thriller” Iron Man 3, amid this year's San Diego Comic-Con. However, filming is still in full swing over in Wilmington, NC for a couple more months, before moving to China.
Hinting at potential settings in the Shane Black-directed installment, the most recent casting calls for shoots this month have been released via Tona B. Dahlquist Casting. And offering details for North Carolina locals who fancy a background role in the film, check them out below listed in the order they were issued.

“Seeking females ages 20-30 yrs. All ethnic backgrounds needed (to include Midlle Eastern, Asian, East Indian, African American, Vietnamese) who are comfortable being scantily clad. In other Iron Man 3-related news, tons of rumors surfaced last week; one of which insisted that The Avengers "Maria Hill" actress Cobie Smulders would be reprising her role. Andy Lau, Ashley Hamilton, James Badge Dale, with Sir Ben Kingsley and Jon Favreau. Shane Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) takes over directorial duties from Jon Favreau, who helmed the first two “Iron Man” films. Principal photography will occur primarily in North Carolina and China. And “Iron Man 3” is set for release in May 3, 2013.
