Yesterday, we saw a new full-length trailer for Andrew Stanton's film John Carter, a science fiction epic based on the classic novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs. We finally got a look at characters like Matai Shang, Kantos Kan, Sab Than and Tardos Mors. Now, the official website has been updated with a great new motion wallpaper, featuring John Carter versus White Apes, as well as some promo photos. Check it out below!

Along Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins and Willem Dafoe, the rest of the cast includes Mark Strong, Bryan Cranston, James Purefoy, Dominic West, Thomas Haden Church and Ciarán Hinds. John Carter is set to hit theatres on March 9, 2012!

This movie looks awesome. E.R.B.sci-fi pulp FTW, FINALLY!

Taylor Kitsch's head looks missahpen a la Eric Stoltz mask in those pics for some reason to me.

Finally gonna wipe that taste of 'Dances With Smurfs' outta my brain with this. First reviews that blare 'BETTER THAN AVATAR!!!' are gonna drive me nuts. Avatar sucked, THIS is truly gonna be epic.

This movie is shaping up really well on me, and those images share the same amount of sweetness as the previous ones released before. I'm currently reading A Princess of Mars, too, so far so great...the movie will be damn awesome, hands down. :)
