Judge Dredd: Mega-City One is starting to come together. The TV series is in talks to bring Dredd star Karl Urban back to the title role, and is currently crafting together the first season.

Today, IGN has revealed the first concept art from the show that showcases Mega-City One in all of its grim glory. The first piece of art is called Democracy March, and shows suspended streets filled with the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city.

The next piece, entitled Lowlife Arrival, features the deepest level of the city and what looks to be possibly Judges in the background.

The series was announced back in may, and it's been rumored that Netflix, Amazon and HBO are interested in producing the show. As of right now, there is no release date. Check out the concept art out below.

I think this show is gonna be nuts if HBO gets a hold of it.

Love that they're going for the all out futuristic look.

As much as I love Dredd it was a bit too grounded, the future was just near future. The world of Judge Dredd and Mega City One is supposed to be bonkers. And honestly Karl Urban's Dredd would be even more perfect since he'd be playing a cold hard Judge in an insane environment.

@MrBullseye - To be fair, Dress just showed us one structure in a city roughly the size of a state. That could just be one slum of Mega City One. Plenty of ways around that.

Might not look like the Mega City from the 2012 film, but its closer to the comics. Fine by me.
