Dredd needs to be done exactly like the comic, no excuses. If done right Dredd could be a powerful comic movie along the lines of Sin City.

Hmmm this is good, I've only read a few Judge Dredd books though. What I'd really want is for Punisher Max to be made into an HBO series and have a B.P.R.D. series as well.

Dredd needs to be done right this time. Leave it to the folks in the UK and keep it out of Hollywood.

I hate remakes. I liked the original movie but a remake might be ok.

CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 11/24/2009, 4:29 PM
@ hannibal

considering the original was absolutely NOTHING like the comics...i mean NOTHING AT ALL like the comics, i'm HOPING its a remake, lol

they screwed themselves from the get go when they decided to show Dredd's face.
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 11/24/2009, 4:45 PM

Shaman
Shaman - 11/25/2009, 6:44 AM
Stallone didn't screw up shit, he was the best part of the movie! But everything about the movie was a bad adaptation. Danny Cannon's the one who screwed up. Even still, i found it to be a great CBM, just a bad adaptation. It's part of my Top10 for sure!!!
selinakyle
selinakyle - 11/25/2009, 7:09 AM
Apart from Rambo and the Stallone Cobra movies, he pretty much sucks in my opinion.
Shaman
Shaman - 11/25/2009, 8:00 AM
I just felt that the personality he brings to his roles fit quite nicely with Dredd's. Rambo and Cobra were also great films of his but i agree, in anything else he does lack. I am curious about The Expendables though, but not so much on account of him ;)
selinakyle
selinakyle - 11/25/2009, 8:24 AM
come to think of it...i did like him in Rocky Balboa tho.
Shaman
Shaman - 11/25/2009, 8:34 AM
Meh... I liked where he took his character's evolution in the fourth but it went back downhill for me in the fifth. I haven't seen the sixth yet, apparently it's pretty good ;)
PhillyHulk
PhillyHulk - 11/25/2009, 1:58 PM
rocky 1, 2 and 4 were also great movies, rocky 3, 5 and balboa not so much
