Could a Justice League film be based on a Crisis?

After Hearing the details, that all DC heroes exist in separate universes, is it possible that the Justice League film could be a crisis.

For those of you who do not know what a crisis is, a Crisis (or at least a DC crisis) is usually a story that revolves around alternate universes, and occasionally changes continuity. Ex: Crisis on Two Earths, Crisis on Multiple Earths, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Infinite Crisis, Final Crisis, and Flash Point.

Now given then news, that all DC superheroes exist in their own universes, is it possible that the point of a Justice League film, is to combine those universes to create single DC film universe.

This is all speculation, of course, but in many aspects this could work, keeping a DC feel, introducing a Universal threat, such as Anti Monitor or Krona. This concept also opens many opportunities, such saying that all films related to DC are in the same connected, like Superman 78 is an is earth 2 superman, and so are the Burton Batman films. Smallville could be a Superman Earth-One type universe.

This is just a concept, only speculation.

That's a very interesting idea although I would have liked to see you expand upon what you have. This editorial is too short.

or maybey an all new original crisis that is created for the JL film. Originally, I despised the thought of a JL film, but this might work.

Oh and does anybody know why we no longer have the ability to edit & Delete comments?

@ gamecreator

while it COULD be an interesting idea, there's just no way. When Nolan says his Superman and Batman movies take place in their own worlds with no other heroes, i don't think he meant they are literally in different universes, lol.

he was just trying to say that his Superman and Batman films will never have other heroes crossing over into them. nothing more.

If they did that I could see the justice league coming together and telling Batman he can't join since he has no super powers and would get killed too easily .

6 months back or so i commented on somebodies article with a similar idea...in that i thought that (in order to get around Nolan's argument- that his Batman is the only Superhero) Superman could find a way to tap into other universes to recruit Super heroes to combat against the ANTI MONITOR. I cant really remember all that i said but it was to the effect that all members from the JLA were part of a different universe. However i didnt get into alternate versions of those heroes....that could get too expensive...theres no way that hollywood could budget that.

I doubt it. I was thinking more like a new DC Cinematic Universe exist within the 52 Multiverse and the older movies are pre-COIE. I would like a Speeding Bullets movie involving Kal-El's capsule falling in Gotham (of course being apocryphal, being an Elseworld) and movies involving the Crime Syndicate.

I'd love to see that happen.

@naterator That would be amazing, maybe spanning every DC movie, have Dr. Manhattan in a small cameo waltzing around the multiverse, bring back Routh (as he is meant to be the same Supes as Christopher Reeves), Keaton as a Dark Knight Returns style Batman, John Constantine having a small scene with Swamp Thing from that trashy Wes Craven movie, hell maybe even Adam West as Batman and Lynda Carter as the older Earth-2 Wonder Woman from Infinite Crisis? The sad thing is Warner Bros. seem to hate money not being made by Batman movies so we will probably never see this.
