JUSTICE LEAGUE Actor Ray Fisher Opens Up About Working With Joss Whedon While Shooting The Movie
Ray Fisher has opened up about his time with Joss Whedon while filming the upcoming Justice League movie, while sharing his thoughts on those rumors that have run rampant these past few months...
Back in May, it was announced that Zack Snyder was stepping down from Justice League, handing the reins over to Joss Whedon to complete the film. Since then, a lot has been made about how much the movie may or may not be altered, from how extensive the reshoots were to how different the finished film will be from Zack's vision.
In an interview with Geek Magazine (via Screen Rant), actor Ray Fisher, who will be playing Cyborg , opened up on his experience acting under the direction of Whedon. "They’re two very different people, but at the end of the day, they’re two very different people who basically want the same thing, and that’s to tell the best possible story for these characters and get them launched off into a really great direction." Fisher said. "While it’s a different directing style, the fact that Zack had handed the reins to him is, like, ‘You just have to trust the process.’ While there wasn’t a lot of time to build that rapport that you would normally have with a director, at the end of the day, it’s about making sure that the fans have the best possible experience that we can possibly give them."
Fisher also briefly brought up his stance on all those rumors that have popped up these last few months since Snyder's departure, saying, "So for all the rumor mill stuff, listen. I think there’s a lot of needless negativity that I’m personally dedicating myself not to become a part of."
Justice League opens in theaters November 17, 2017. As always, share your thoughts in the comments below.
