Last July, Justice League star Ray Fisher took to Twitter to allege that reshoots writer and director Joss Whedon's on-set treatment of the film's cast and crew was, "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable." He also made damning allegations against producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg, as well as Warner Bros. executive Tony Emmerich.
An investigation was finally conducted by WarnerMedia, and while we've not been made privy to the outcome, it sounds like the four of them have faced consequences of some sort.
Whedon, in particular, has been put under the spotlight in a big way. A long list of Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast members have recently spoken out against the filmmaker, with many using the #IStandWithRayFisher hashtag. It seems Whedon is something of a bully, and as Fisher was the least well-known name on the Justice League set, he likely served as an easy target.
Now, Fisher has again made waves on social media, Tweeting: "There’s only one reason that I haven’t been sued by Joss Whedon, Toby Emmerich, Geoff Johns, Jon Berg, or Walter Hamada: They know I’m telling the truth."
You can see the actor's full Tweet below. He makes a compelling point, and it is interesting that none of these guys have issued statements refuting Fisher's claims. Hamada, the current boss of DC Films, gave it a good try, but didn't come out looking particularly good on the other side.
