JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE SNYDER CUT - Zack Snyder's Full Panel From DC FanDome Released By HBO Max

HBO Max has released the full Justice League: The Snyder Cut panel from this weekend's DC FanDome in which Zack Snyder fields questions from the likes of Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot...

Aside from that incredible first trailer, the Justice League: The Snyder Cut (we're assuming that's the official title now) panel at DC FanDome didn't bring much in the way of huge reveals. In some respects, Zack Snyder's "JusticeCon" appearance generated more headlines, but his virtual appearance on Saturday was still well worth checking out.

Surprisingly, the filmmaker ended up taking pre-recorded questions from Justice League cast members Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, and Ezra Miller (Jason Momoa was absent from the entire weekend, so we can only assume there were some scheduling issues).

Snyder also asks fans who supported the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement what this movie means to them, while also dropping some hints about what we can expect. In that respect, by far the biggest tease from the director was that the Flash's "quantum" abilities will be explored. We can't help but think that confirms time-travel will end up factoring into this adventure.

Interestingly, Snyder also shares his favourite superhero, and the reason why he picked Watchmen's Dr. Manhattan definitely makes for interesting viewing. That property has been influential on the director's career, and even Silas Stone's death in the trailer appears to be inspired by him.

Incredible trailer? what did u watch?
there was no dialogue, nothing showing why it differs from joss whedon cut.
I still have hope snyder cut will be visually better and have better action, but this trailer didn't prove it.

@aresww3 - I heard that not one minute of what Joss Whedon filmed will be in the Snyder Cut.

The little interest I had in this was immediately killed when he said his movie about superheroes fighting aliens was for “grownups”. It’s the exact same energy he had back in 2016 with his “flavour of the week” comments.

You never fail to surprise me, Zack

If we every get a Disaster Artist style movie about the Snyder Cut, get Joss Whedon to direct it, he has no problem making fun of himself and he already gave the perfect portrayal of Zack Snyder

You know what Joss Whedon did when he lost something he put a lot of time into. He did not spend 2 years bitching and getting fans to bully a studio.

He kept moving, he finished Buffy and Angel, while actually putting the work in himself to get it back, going to other networks and film studios to try to get something made, and he did the impossible a movie based on a show that didn't even get a full season.

Also had a much better and complex villain than that thing Snyder calls Steppenwolf

@Kurne - I mostly ignored Yey Fisher, Hack Snyder and the women choker, only switched back to watching the screen when Gal Gadot showed up

So you still see that the HBO max YouTube channel is calling the movie "Zack Snyder's Justice League" which I would think would be the big indicator of the actual title yet you still insist the title is "Justice League: The Snyder Cut."

Josh Wilding = The brightest bulb in the room.

@Mrcool210 - how about just calling it the Snyder League, not like anyone is going to resemble their comic counterpart or sell it to marvel and call it Squadron Supreme

Not a Snyder cultist or hater, but I am truly intrigued. I want to see this and see if his vision for the heroes eventually matches what I want to see, especially related to a certain Kryptonian who was my favorite hero when I used to wear his costume well before I reached double digits. I really want to see a more comic accurate Flash, but getting Superman right is far more important to me. I wasn't happy with everything Snyder did with Kal-El, but I think he did have a character arc for him. "This is my world. You are my world."

I'm hoping this will be a 'sendoff' for ZS directing comicbook movies, going forward. Let him have his original vision released, then never hire him for anything superhero-related EVER again.

I know this sounds harsh, I loved parts of 300, Watchmen and MOS, but enough is enough. He just never delivers.

@Goldboink - id agree if it was Zack Snyder’s project, but its not, they are DC’s characters, so yeah nothing wrong with firing him
