SPOILERS: With 'Steppenwolf' Set To Be The Big Bad, Here's How 'Darkseid' Will Factor Into JUSTICE LEAGUE
Following the rather disappointing news that D-List villain Steppenwolf is set to be Justice League's big bad, a new report claims to shed some light on what exactly Darkseid will be getting up to in the movie.
It was revealed yesterday that Steppenwolf will be the big bad of Justice League, news which is something of a let down due to it now feeling like we're getting Justice League: Darkseid Lite before Justice League 2: Darkseid. However, Heroic Hollywood may have some good news for us as they're claiming to have details on Darkseid's role in the movie as well as what exactly Steppenwolf is up to.
While it's already been said that the villain is going to make a full appearance at the end of the movie (no doubt in order to set up the sequel), apparently we may end up seeing him at the start too. "Around 30,000 years ago, the Amazonians, the Atlanteans, and Man successfully fought off Darkseid here on Earth," they reveal. "He left three motherboxes behind and that folks is what Steppenwolf is after in Justice League: Part One. That is pretty much your plot." Could those three Mother Boxes be the same ones we saw in that deleted scene featuring Lex Luthor, one of which was seemingly used to transform Victor Stone into Cyborg? For now, that obviously remains to be seen, but it's likely.
Do you guys think this is the best way to handle Darkseid's introduction? As with any rumour, take this all with a pinch of salt for now, but in the meantime, let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
