'Wonder Woman' Flies Through Themyscira In More JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL Concept Art

The Wonder Woman artwork we saw earlier featured a classic design for the character, but this stunning new piece sees Princess Diana in a more modern costume as she flies through her homeland of Themyscira. Hopefully the documentary gets off the ground, because this is great stuff...

Director Ryan Unicomb is directing the documentary with Aaron Cater and Steven Caldwell on board as producers. Here's what he had to say about it in an interview with IF.com. “We wanted to get the story out there to help us to gauge interest. I have always been fascinated with project, which would be in the same vein as 2013’s Jodorowsky’s Dune and this year’s The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?, about a Superman movie that Tim Burton was to direct in the 1990s.” Hopefully we'll get a look at the designs for some of the other members of the team, which would have included Armie Hammer as Batman, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Adam Brody as The Flash and Common as Green Lantern.

NOW THIS IS WONDER WOMAN!!!!! Such respect for her mythology is evident through this art. It's fantastical, as it ahould be. She's a fantastical character not dark or gritty

Now if THAT was what the movie was gonna look like than I'm really upset now....

George Miller needs to do a CBM RIGHT THIS MINUTE!!!

That's EXACTLY what I want my JL movie to LOOK like.

The thing that excites me the most about this documentary is that we'll finally get to see the designs of the characters and photos of the cast. Here's hoping it's just an influx of stuff over the next little while.

I read the script today, not bad. I had a couple minor gripes and nitpicks (I really didn't like Batman killing Maxwell Lord...). Also I think the film was horribly cast.

I think that's from the JL videogame they were doing as a companion piece for the film. And it's been out for a long-butt while.

These films tanked for the best. Overly ambitious ideas without the resources to properly convey them. IT-Actors all over the place. Nicolas Cage and Tom Cruise vying for everything from Superman to Iron Man. Too many interpretations of what things should be. It was the wrong time.

George miller directed Mad Max which was an amazing film, so I'm disappointed that he didn't make this. Seriously, that high of critical acclaim and audience acclaim is more than enough for me to want to see a directors take on things

wasn't a fan of the casting for this film... I prefer the current DC cinematic universe casting (Obv with the exception of Cavill (WHO KILLS IT IMO AS CLARK) these are all based of appearance rather then performance)

Adam Brody is the one casting I personally liked and may prefer over the current Ezra Miller... Here's hoping Ezra kills it as my favorite hero!

I'd be interested in seeing that Superman Lives only in a watching a train wreck kind of way but this Justice League Mortal concept art intrigues me more every time I see it. If only we could travel to parallel worlds where these things exist...

I read the whole script today and really loved it, Batman killing Maxwell Lord excluded. All the characters were written really well for the most part though, especially Barry. His final moments were nicely done with Wally becoming the new Flash by the end.
