Zack Snyder Addresses A MAN OF STEEL Easter Egg And How That Relates To JUSTICE LEAGUE

Talking at the European premiere of Man in Steel in London this evening, Zack Snyder has addressed a reference in the remake to a certain Caped Crusader and how that may or may not relate to the planned Justice League movie.

Not too long ago, we heard about a small nod to Wayne Enterprises in Man in Steel. In the following interview at tonight's European premiere of the movie, director Zack Snyder addressed that Easter egg and once again teased how all these little nods are a way of potentially laying the groundwork for a DC Cinematic Universe and a Justice League movie. It was recently revealed that Snyder will helm a sequel to Man of Steel written once again by David Goyer (who is also penning Justice League apparently). Skip to the 1:50 mark to hear what Snyder had to say about the above.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

STARRING:

Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman
Amy Adams as Lois Lane
Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent
Diane Lane as Martha Kent
Michael Shannon as Zod

I would consider myself more of a Marvel fan since I know more of the storylines from reading the comics, however I hope this movie blows EVERYONE away!!!!! Superman is a superhero that needs to be done right and take us to places we haven't seen before in movies!

How do people feel about a potential batman reboot?

I would prefer to see some of the other justice league characters being given their big screen opportunity. Although I do recognise that a reboot is inevitable as Nolan's Batman doesn't fit into a shared universe with "superpowers".

I had nothing but high hopes for this movie, and there was the problem. I liked it, but not as much as I had hoped. I am glad they are doing a sequel, I just hope they do it right next time.

I've done some google searches and sifted through a good amount of reviews and I'd say the great majority are pretty positive. If I had to guess, when the majority of reviews are counted on RT, the percentage will go up at least some. Everyone just needs to cool their jets. And even if it doesn't go up, that doesn't mean it will be bad or fail to hit at the box office. Only time will tell.

That's 22 of 62 people but most of the people who gave it a rotten rating gave it a 3/5 or a C which isn't bad. the still have 200 reviews to go, not to mention IGN and Comic Vine gave it 9 out of 10 and 5 out of 5 respectively and those reviews aren't on RT. RT is a way of measuring the consensus of critics and fan's response to the film. With that said the score isn't accurate until we get more responses.

And not for anything but Captain America got a %79 AND Thor got a %77 percent, but there are a lot of people who feel they deserved a worse grade. Because honestly they weren't that great nor were they memorable. Go troll some other thread you Marvelite piece of shit.
