JUSTICE LEAGUE Director Zack Snyder Thanks Ben Affleck For His Tenure As The Batman
Zack Snyder introduced Ben Affleck as The Dark Knight in Batman v Superman, and the director has now shared a Vero post bidding farewell to the actor and thanking him for his tenure in the cape and cowl.
Though some fans refused to believe it, deep down we've known that Ben Affleck's time as Batman was at an end for quite a while now - although it was only recently made official when the trades reported that Matt Reeves was searching for a younger actor to take over as the iconic DC hero.
Since then we've had additional confirmation from Affleck himself, and now the man responsible for casting him as The Caped Crusader in the first place has also weighted in.
Zack Snyder, who directed Affleck as The Dark Knight in both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, shared the following to Vero True Social.
As far as we know, Syder is also done with Warner Bros.' DC Films Universe in a directing capacity, although he remains on board as a producer on several upcoming projects including Wonder Woman 1984. His next film will be the Netflix zombie flick Army of The Dead.
