Nicolas Cage Talks Inspiration for Big Daddy in Kick Ass!

What kid never thought about actually being a super hero while reading comic books? If you cant answer that question it is because it is a trick question. Every kid who ever read any comic books growing up, at least once, thought about being a super hero. This movie features kids that take the super hero idea and make it their own. Kick Ass turns it up a notch.

Kick Ass will debut in theaters April 16, 2010. But until then your going to have to settle for Nicolas Cage telling us how the 60's style Batman inspired his take on Big Daddy:



"When Damon Macready is in his Big Daddy mode, that uniform is like his homage to the early Batman, not 'Dark Knight,' but older, like Adam West-style," he explained

Cage even went so far to say that his voice style is also modeled after the Mayor on Family Guy:

"That was the homage," said Cage. "Adam West would've been the Batman that he grew up with. That would be the Batman that would help him get the job done."

That does happen pretty often that people are in a rush to post first on news articles. It happens. The others that post articles like me, I hope and think(not speaking for them) that they feel the same way about what I said. That they understand and the other person posting a like article
is not doing it to be malicious.

Keven---I want to say that you have a right to say someone's article is messed up or not to your liking, but maybe you could be more tactful about it. I actually don't condone that sort of thing. He did put some work into the article and commend DOGSOFWAR on it. That goes for anyone who posts articles. We critize to help make someone better or to to just bust their chops, but it's friendly. After being here a while of being here in CBM and also at my career job, I've just come to learn to try to help people than to bash them. I am not saying you were trying to. But the comment was to me harsh. I just am speaking for myself on this matter and I would hope that maybe you will think about what I said. You don't have to, but maybe you could. Thanks.

Nic Cage is a good actor who will be in anything for a payday. Crap movie delivers a crap performance. Good movie: vice-versa. He was an indie god in the 80's.
