20th Century Fox's Kingsman: The Golden Circle is really assembling quite the cast. Just moments ago, Channing Tatum revealed, via Twitter, that he's also landed a role in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2014 Matthew Vaughn-directed sleeper hit.

Variety corroborated the story and while neither source was able to provide details on his role, based on the teaser poster below, it's safe to say he's likely playing an American. He's now the latest addition to a top-notch cast that features the returns of Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson, & Edward Holcroft and has already added Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Pedro Pascal, and Sir Elton John

Vaughn is returning to direct the sequel, which kicks off production in a few weeks. Tatum was able to sign on for the role after a hole opened up in his schedule due to the delay of his upcoming superhero spin-off Gambit, which is now expected to kick off production in the latter half of 2016 after director Doug Liman (Edge Of Tomorrow) finishes work on The Wall. Tatum should complete work on both films before starting MIB 23, the recently announced 21 Jump Street/Men In Black crossover.

Check out his poster below:

I like Tatum. He's gotten better over the years. Espicially in his comedy roles. This is good for him.
