Here's What Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige Has to Say About "Superhero Fatigue"

Superhero movies have been going strong for quite some time now, but is there a chance general audiences will ever get sick and tired of them? Marvel's Kevin Feige has something to say about that...

As fellow nerds and geeks of the comic book world, we all love our superhero movies and can't wait for more of them. Still, it's hard to believe Marvel has been making their own universe of heroes for ten years now - not to mention the fact that other superhero movies from DC have also been in the mix.

Kevin Feige doesn't believe that fatigue is much of an issue, however.

Vulture reports him saying, "That’s the reason we make the movies we make and the way we make them. For years, predating the history of Marvel Studios itself, people asked me about superhero fatigue and if it was a fad or a phase.

I say, if they’re all different, if they’re all special, nobody will get tired of these things before we at Marvel Studios will, since we live and breathe these things 24 hours a day. You make films like Thor: Ragnarok, like Homecoming, like Guardians of the Galaxy, certainly like Panther, and the upcoming Infinity War to keep it interesting and change it up. And we will continue to do that.”

Well, there you have it. The man that runs the MCU seems very confident in Marvel's roster of characters continuing to deliver in the years to come.

What do you guys think about Feige's comments? Sound off below.

What a guy. Thank god he's in charge of the best comic book franchise out there, because he CLEARLY understands how to properly make a successful, critically and publicly acclaimed franchise that is diverse and varied with their films.

@HeavyMetal4Life -

I second that, especially since he took some hero's who weren't that well known to the majority of the public and used them as a cornerstone to his universe.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I have said to many friends of mine that my goal in life is to be a black version of Kevin Fiege, someone who loves the characters he works with yet has an incredible business savvy and understanding of current trends and how evolve your product to continually be relevant.

Yet if I can't be Grand Emperor Fiege I'd settle for being his apprentice kinda like the 3rd long lost black Russo brother.

You think Kevin would be interested in adopting a 30 year old black guy?
