Megan Fox Says She'd Love To Be A Part Of The Marvel Cinematic Or DC Films Universes

Megan Fox has been experiencing something of a career resurgence of late, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress has now expressed a desire to join either the Marvel Cinematic or DC Films Universe.

At one point, Megan Fox seemed poised to become one of the biggest and most highly in-demand actresses in the world, but after becoming disillusioned with Hollywood and the caliber of roles she was offered coming out of the Transformers franchise (not to mention the blatant misogyny she experienced), she's dropped off the radar somewhat over the past few years.

Now, Fox is ready to return to acting and is looking for roles that are “challenging” and “fun,” and as an avid comic book fan, has her sights set on the Marvel or DC movie universes.

“I want to grow into myself as an actor,” she tells The Washington Post. “I feel like I spent a lot of years not doing that because I sort of checked out from Hollywood. Now I’m ready to grow into myself.”

Fox has tried her hand at comic book-based roles in the past in the likes of Jonah Hex and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, but, as far as we know, has never been in line for a part in a Marvel or DC film. It's hardly surprising that she's interested in being a part of these massive franchises (who wouldn't be?), but as both universes expand to include more varied small screen projects, there's never been a better time for an actor to throw their hat in the ring.

Are there any DC or Marvel roles you guys think Megan Fox would be suited to? Drop us a comment down below, and check out the trailer for her latest movie, 'Till Death.
