We are off to head down to Charlotte, North Carolina to hang out at HeroesCon 2012! Apparently this was the 30th Anniversary for HeroesCon but for us this was the first… This show mainly consisted of artists and vendors, which provided SuperHeroStuff with a place to sell our wares and to walk around and see some of the other booths!

Upon the opening of the show we learned that right behind our booth were artists Mike Mignola and Mark Brooks. It was amazing seeing them work. All of the artists that were at HeroesCon are extremely talented artists. Upon day 1 Mark started on a giant Phoenix painting for the annual art auction. Upon the last day of the show we got to see the finished Mark Brooks Phoenix painting. In our humble opinion it is awesome. It ended up selling for $9,500 with all of the proceeds going to charity.

Like I said we will post a couple more articles showcasing some of the cool artwork we saw and at times purchased. While we can't, or better said - won't, sell you any of these opportune sketches we can offer you some great stuff at a discount from our store.

it royally sucked that you had to pay Stan $50 an autograph. But at least I got an awesome old school Wolverine sketch on my Wolverine jacket by none other than Herb Trimpe Wolverine
