Long before Ashton Kutcher and Von Dutch made "meshies" cool, the mixed-media caps were popular among truck drivers and little leaguers because they were cheap and provided good ventilation during those long hauls and hot summer ball games. The trucker cap craze died down in the mid-00s, but they've been making a comeback in SoCal so I decided to order me up one from CBM partner
SuperHeroStuff (SHS).
Being a longtime fan of DC Comics' The Flash—I'm partial to Wally West, myself, but I'll take Barry Allen in a pinch—I ordered SHS'
Flash Distressed Felt Symbol Baseball Cap, which retails for $17.99. Ordering was very easy and the cap arrived promptly.
I couldn't have been happier with my purchase! The cap I received was sturdy, made of quality materials and had good stitching. The white mesh back of the cap repeats beneath the iconic lightning bolt symbol on the front, giving it something of a 3-D look. I was initially worried that the "distressed" nature of the cap would mean that the red would be faded and pinkish, but it retained its vibrant red color.
I highly recommend this product to any Flash fans!
