BRIDES OF DRACULA Television Series Coming Soon To NBC

What if Dracula's brides didn't lose their heads to Van Helsing? That's the premise of Brides - a new "gothic soap drama," which has a pilot production commitment at NBC...

Think a Brides of Dracula TV show sounds like a cool idea? Well, check out the description first! NBC's Brides is being touted as "a sexy reimagining of Dracula as a family drama with a trio of strong, diverse female leads, a show about empowered women and the things they do to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy — and their non-traditional family."

Sounds a bit too close to Charmed with added bloodsucking, but we'll see. The show is being penned by playwright, screenwriter and comic book writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and produced by Greg Berlanti; who should need no introduction to DCTV fans.

Dracula's brides have been almost as prevalent in popular culture as the man himself, appearing in various movies, comic books and novels over the years.

Another show taking place in NYC... There is other big cities in the US besides L.A. and New York City.

Why not have the show take place in Seattle?

Berlanti sucks! What stupid ass idea. Soon fans of crappy Arrow will be wondering if it is in the Arrowverse.

They just freaking cancelled a Dracula show they had like 2 or 3 years ago. NBC why don't you get more concerned about finding the new office opposed to this garbage that won't get a series order or you'll order 10 of this series and only show 3 because it's gonna crash and burn.

DO they solve crime though?

Surely with a Zombie and The Devil aiding Police Officers in criminal Investigation, Vampires can help as well?

What? Did not NBC learn anything from the failed Dracula series?

A family drama? Absolutely not. Either it's horror like Dracula is supposed to be or I'm not watching it.

I would've preferred a spin-off to NBC's previous DRACULA series.
