I grew up wild and I grew up up free
surrounded by the golden wheat of Oklahoma.
There was Magic every where I looked.
But especially in the comic books Mom and Dad
bought for me.
There were Hero's who would walk with me
through all my fantasies and all my dreams.
There was Was Captain America and the Fly.
The New Gods, O.M.A.C.and Kamandi the last Boy on earth.
They Were created or drawn by a man.
Who seemed to hold my dreams in his hands.
Who gave me wings to Fly and realize.
I could if I held on to my dreams.
Be any thing I wanted to be.
So I say with joyous heart.
Jack Kirby you were a part
of my childhood and all that was good.
So I Thank Ya Mister Kirby.
