The latest issue of Empire Magazine features two new stills from Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. The article features plenty of new information about the project, including comments from the Sherlock Holmes director on his take on the reimagining of the classic TV series. In the movie, two spies need to put their differences aside to fight a common threat, with American actor Armie Hammer playing a Russian and British actor Henry Cavill as another American (after Superman). The latter admits that he didn't think it was necessary to pay too much attention to what's come before and hasn't seen any of the original series. "I didn't see that it was necessarily important. I just wanted to meet with Guy to know how he saw it." Hammer has though and adds, "It is completely different. If you watch the pilot episode, it just starts. It doesn't say what U.N.C.L.E. is, who these characters are. It just goes and you have to catch up. So, this is a genesis story of U.N.C.L.E." The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will be released on August 14th, 2015.
