Is There A CAPTAIN BRITAIN TV Show In Development?

Nothing too solid on this yet, but some very interesting Tweets from a poster artist definitely implies that Marvel may be in the very early stages of planning a TV show based around Brian Braddock, AKA Captain Britain. Take a look at let us know what you think...

At this point it's a given that after the success of Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Marvel has some more TV series in the pipeline that we haven't heard about yet.

There have been rumors of Moon Knight, a solo Punisher series and more - but could Captain Britain be among them? The following Tweet from poster artist Ciara McAvoy (via MCU Exchange) certainly suggests as much.

enter image description here

Obviously that's not a whole lot top go on, but when quizzed about the Tweet here's what McAvoy had to say:

"I am being paid to do the promo poster so yes I’d say this is really happening. It might take a while before the announcement (either early 2017 or late 2016) They’re making a sizzle reel and it’s gonna be awesome. I can’t reveal anything yet but hopefully I’ll be able to soon. Waiting for the go ahead from the co-producer"

That's still nothing even close to confirmation of course, but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. Captain Britain is a very interesting character with ties to British folklore and mythology, and could well tie in nicely to the mystical side of the MCU that's set to be explored for the first time with Doctor Strange. Plus, he also happens to be a kick-ass costumed superhero that could take flight with The Avengers.

Sound off below and let us know what you think about this. Would you like to see a Captain Britain TV show?
