Oh Hell No! Reporter Mistakes Samuel L. Jackson For Laurence Fishburne
A KLTA reporter gets an earful from Samuel L. Jackson ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") when he mistakens the actor for fellow thespian, Laurence Fisburne ("The Matrix"). Come check it out.
Watch as KTLA entertainment reporter Sam Rubin, flubs an interview with Samuel L. Jackson ("Pulp Fiction") by confusing him with Laurence Fishburne ("Hannibal"). The video below begins with the reporter asking Jackson about his Super Bowl commercial. Jackson, who did appear in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier television spot senses that the reporter isn't referring to that, but actually Laurence Fishburne's Super Bowl television spot for the car company, Kia. Instead of promoting RoboCop, as he was supposed to, Jackson goes off on quite the rant. After the interview was over, Sam Rubin issued a heartfelt apology, which you can also see below.
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.
