REAL LIFE: Man Attacks Roommate With Replica 'Wolverine' Claws

After learning that his best friend/rommmate was dating his mother, a 19 year old Vernal, Utah, man allegedly attacked his rommmate with a replica set of 'Wolverine' claws! Read on for further details on this bizarre real-life case.

Kristofer Ryan Huff, 19, has been charged with aggravated assault after attacking his roommate with replica 'Wolverine' claws. According to KSL.com, Huff used a knife and a replica set of the claws [pictured in the video report above] on his 20 year old friend after learning that his mother is dating him. Really! She too ended up being stabbed in the arm as she tried to restrain her son, although the roommate suffered far more serious injuries. "(The alleged victim) sustained probably five to six wounds to his head, and then two to his arm, multiple defense wounds on his hands and then one real deep wound to his thigh," Vernal Police Sgt. Vance Norton told the site.

The claws are metal, and although not a proper bladed edge and sharp he still managed to greviously wound his (ex)friend/ room-mate. If they were a bladed-edge and surgically sharp we would of without doubt been looking at a murder charge as he was clearly trying to "cut his Goddamn head-off" (to quote the film).

Some idiots just do not have the common-sense to distinguish between reality and a fictional comic-book universe.

I do like your logic of being a tinfoil Colossus to counter the Wolverine attack though!. ;-)

so this guy mr huff went off in a huff over his mother and his room mate, then he proceeded to wolverine claw his room mate, you know how sad this sounds when you read it and or watch the news report knowing how they didnt use the name huff in a one liner.
well for years many americans have jumped off roofs etc pretending to be some wrestler is it not expected then that the odd one would go brain dead and want to be there mutant icon. It worries me becouse these are the next generation and in many cases the apple didnt fall far from the tree, may be the darwin theory is right.
